The location proved to be our best option on a drive from Kansas City to Santa Fe. […] Room was very freshly painted. Bathroom was clean and had more than ample space (some new places you barely miss the toilet when you go to close the door). We were grateful for polite staff. Basics for a stay on the road and close to the small downtown. We wish them the best.

Was our first stop driving from Colorado to Texas and our last stop on the way back. Only 2 motels I. Boise City and I think we chose the better of the two. Rooms are clean, comfortable beds, small fridge and microwave, nice tv, decent WiFi. […] There is a Subway in the Loves across the street and a Dairy Queen just down the road, which worked out great for us. We will stay there again the next time we make that trip.

Caught by surprise when I had to stay in this out of the way town with a choice of two hotels. I picked the right one. Friendly staff and the room was clean and well cared for with new fridge and microwave, flat screen TV and a comfortable and clean bed. I would stay there again if in the area. This is a older place, […] but inside is very clean and cozy. They even have heated floors which was really nice during winter time. Also, believe it or not, I’d rather sleep in their bed than the last 20 holiday inn beds. I was REALLY impressed with the room.

We called the Townsman when we were a few hours away and they kindly confirmed a nonsmoking room for us at AAA rate. We arrived late and they answered the night bell quickly. The room was perfectly clean, had a microwave and good size refrigerator available. Also a great, seemingly new heater/AC. After camping a few days we were mostly excited about the hot shower. The people who run the hotel are very nice too.

This little unassuming place in the middle of (sorry) nowhere is a refreshing change from overpriced chain hotels. It will spoil you and make you wonder what you’re paying for when you return to the big city. It doesn’t look like much when you drive up. But the welcome is professional, efficient, and friendly, and the room I rented was great […] It’s rare to pay less for something and get so much more than usual. Highly recommended.
